and that's where I renew my springs that never dry up.

Bless your artist's dryspell.....
ReplyDeleteI was happy to revisit the slide show as I loved it before. While there, I checked to see that I'd commented at that time to let you know how beautiful it was. I did, but can't compliment this gorgeous, emotional, peaceful slide show too much!
be patient and let it come when it does. be in the season you are right now.

I can relate to dryspells. I work in glass and haven't created anything new in six months. I have thousands of dollars of beautiful sheet glass waiting for me and I've got nothing. Hang in there - it'll come.
ReplyDeleteinspiration will come. no doubt when you least expect it. :)

When I see your picture, somehoe I can't resist to say : merry christmas!!!
ReplyDeleteYou are very talented and I know something will come along to spark you imagination. In the mean time just enjoy the silence, knowing that that creativity will spark again soon.
ReplyDeleteThat is really stunning, as usual. And, I ALWAYS love the poems/sayings you post with your shots. You are a pro, of course.
ReplyDeleteHi Jessica and Cody Have a merry christmas and a blessed new year. Joke of the week.....The Collar
ReplyDeleteA priest was walking along the school corridor
near the preschool wing when a group of little
ones were trotting by on the way to the cafeteria.
One little lad of about three or four stopped and
looked at him in his clerical clothes and asked,
"Why do you dress funny?"
He told him that he was a priest and that this is
the uniform priests wear.
Then he pointed to the priest's little plastic
collar insert and asked, "Does it hurt? Do you
have a Boo-boo?"
The priest was perplexed till he realized that to
him the collar insert looked like a Band-Aid. So
the priest took it out to show him. On the back
of the collar are raised letters giving the name of
the manufacturer.
The little guy felt the letters, and the priest asked,
"Do you know what those words say?"
"Yes I do," said the lad who was not old enough
to read. Peering intently at the letters he said,
"It says, 'Kills ticks and fleas up to six months!
This is a fantastic photo, and the slideshow has some good pics too! Nice Pearl Buck quote by the way...
ReplyDeleteEven in the midst of complete chaos at my house, I could "see" and "feel" the stillness. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteIt's that time of the year ... so much is going on and it's easy to be overwhelmed.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the cemetery shot is perfect with the colors of the sunset as the backdrop.
Patience is DEFINITELY a virtue! That is an under statement.
ReplyDeleteI hope times aren't being too hard on you. Lemme know if you need to borrow a doggy for hugs. :)
