From this......
to this......
Excuse me while I get back into the swing of things!
I'm happy to report that we both went to the doctor late this afternoon.
We are now armed with meds and ready to nip this crud in the bud - bye, bye dry cough!
I also did a little more unpacking and account balancing, I know, I'm having too much fun eh?!
Enough of the boring everyday life stuff......on to the good stuff!!
Here's a summary of what I hope to share with you this week.
- Our trip to Saint Augustine's historic Lighthouse
- Guest post from Cody about our new vermicomposter
- A tour of the Victorian House B&B in St. Augustine

Oh give me real changing seasons any day. Love your snow photo!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, what contrasting pictures - both with its own beauty although I must admit - I do prefer the sunshine weather.
ReplyDeleteI think I prefer the first image - it looks much warmer! Although, I have been wishing for snow so I can snap some images for Christmas cards. :)
ReplyDeleteI too prefer the first photo but the second one is postcard perfect for those that like to look at snow.
ReplyDeleteO, the second one is by far my favorite. That is so beautiful. But having a dry cough in that kind of weather is not a good thing, so I'm really glad that you saw your doc!
ReplyDelete(I sent an old --really old-- postcard to you and wonder if it ever arrived?)
Wow what a contrast in the weather. I hope you feel better soon. I am looking forward to Cody’s post and more photos from you holiday.

ReplyDeleteGlad you got some meds! The pictures are great--what a contrast.
ReplyDeletethat is so beautiful (I mean both are beautiful!!!)
ReplyDeletelots of hot choc.
ReplyDeleteYou got snow down there already?
ReplyDeleteActually, having hiked the Appalachian Trail through the mountains of North Carolina in April-going-into-May, I shouldn't be surprised....
Still, lovely winter photo...it's the one I'd rather look at, while I'd rather actually be in the first....
Yikes! Glad you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteYikes! Glad you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteWW: Glad you had a good time and I would like to see the lighthouses.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see the pics from all your travels
ReplyDeleteHaha, nice contrast! hope you feel better...
ReplyDeleteGreat photos -- amazing difference, huh? Hope you had a great vacation and that you're feeling much better soon!
ReplyDeleteHope you both feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks for checking out my 10 on Tuesday. :)
Both are beautiful photos! Hope you both feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
that really is a contrast!
ReplyDeleteHow timely, I am wondering if I can figure out some way to compost even in an apartment. btw: I'm reading "Green Goes With Everything" by Sloan Barnett - and am scouring the house for the remaining products that I never 'greened'. I am afraid to use conventional products after reading this .. good alternatives and recipes listed.
I like both! Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteLOL @vermicomposter - now you have me intrigued!
ReplyDeleteGet well soon, you! xoxo
i want snow. we almost went through this snow on our way home from Maryland but it was a bit to the west of our route.
ReplyDeletefeel better
Both shots are gorgeous but I especially like the winter scene.
ReplyDeleteI'll take the second one. :-)
ReplyDeleteYour shots are always lovely. Love the contrast.
ReplyDeleteBoth great photos. Yet no wonder you're sick, such extremes. You need a vacation from your vacation. Also, try liberally applying Vicks on the soles of your feet under socks at night to stop the cough.
ReplyDeleteFeel better.
Oh my goodness, what a change!
