All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter another.
~Anatole France
*Thankfully, these quotes sort of sum up what's going on with me lately. I'll bring you up to speed when I have more time.
what a warm pic i like the rich colors of blue and gold.true colors of life. blue / water, gold / earth .transition seeds fall to earth ,plants grow to seeds.
ReplyDeleteGreat saying, I am just not up to the dying thing quiet yet. How about "to start a new chapter you must first finish one" I like the picture as well. Hmmmm that gives me an idea for one.
ReplyDeletePOD: I glad you agree with me on the colors, they are very pretty!
ReplyDeletegreg: Starting a new chapter is easier to digest than the word die.....I'm not quite up to the dying thing yet either. I think the quote was speaking more figuratively, you know. Do you feel as though you are constantly evolving as a human being? If so, then you may understand that the old parts of us 'die' in order to make way for renewal......or am I just full of myself?!?!
I hope I get to see that photo you're talking about!!
jm our body change's every 7 years.i see greg and yourself are afraid of the word death.i'm a lot older than you two. time goes so fast and the older you get, it gets faster so death gets near how can i wright like this the peace i have. death has no fear for me. i'll tell you why another time.we are not promiseised tomorrow.please take time to think on this.you have one life?
ReplyDeleteI love that quote... think I used it on my blog before.
ReplyDeleteLove the upside-down effect on your photo, with the blue on the bottom and the earth on top. LOVE it. Again... rrrrrr.
TD: Great minds think alike!! I didn't really think of it that way, upside down effect.....hmmmm
