Three Down........

"{366} Photographic Journal"
Toward the end of this month I began to get a little disappointed in what I was presenting in terms of 'good photos'. I had some major ups and downs this month, but I made it through. Three down, and nine to go. I know throughout the remainder of this year I will continue to have my ups and downs, but I suppose that what really matters is how quickly I am able to bounce back. Throughout my years I have come to realize that I am a pretty resilient creature. Every experience forming me into who I am at the moment, things change, I's really interesting to have the ability to look back on it as a whole. It really puts things into perspective for me.

I am glad to have the opportunity to share with you as this new phase in my life unfolds, and I grow that much more thankful as the days pass. Thank you for the support, it means a lot to me :o)

  1. WOW!! I am blown away by those two pics - still gazing at them and drinking them in - girl you ooze talent!

You really should go pro, in my opinion...

  2. It doesn't matter how we fall or how many times we fall, it matters how we get up. Keep strong! And your photos are freakin' amazing! Really they are.

  3. So many wonderful details in Reciprocity that just draws me in... I can almost smell the ink. Seriously.
    You rock.

  6. i know exactly what you mean. it's difficult to hold yourself to high standards - at once necessary to make great art, and also detrimental to the very process... i get it.

but these are beautiful photos!! i loved them - now i'm off to flickr to favorite the pen and paper one.

  7. I am really sorry to hear about your ups and downs. Your resilience is inspiring. As are the photographs, as always.

Hope things work out for the best in everything!

  8. a little bird: I can be too critical sometimes with my high expectations, but you're right, it's necessary sometimes! Thank you!!

Rebecca: Thank you for the well wishes......I don't know what was wrong with me, but we are bound to have those periods every now and again, right?!
